Rien de Rien

Rien de Rien is a small architecture atelier — small on purpose — working between the Baix Empordà, the Balearics, Barcelona and Comporta. Their manifesto reads “le laid peut être beau, le joli jamais”, and a site that came out merely pretty would have contradicted it on the first screen. So the work goes into structure and emptiness: a horizontal rail that holds the manifesto before releasing you into the projects, type at architectural scale, and photography given room to breathe. Three languages, static pages, and nothing on screen that is not doing a job.
